CHANGING THE NARRATIVE AROUNDPOST-SECONDARY EDUCATION FOR WOMEN CHANGING THE NARRATIVE AROUND
POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION FOR WOMEN

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

In 2015, The Women’s Fund of East Tennessee made grants to fund a network of eight nonprofit organizations to implement a grassroots communications campaign to encourage young women and girls in East Tennessee to further their education beyond high school. As a group, the network has completed extensive message research and testing to better understand the most effective ways to reach the girls, young women and caregivers the network serves. The network has developed a campaign strategy and is now engaging their staff, spokespeople, community businesses and partners to put this plan into action. Our goal is for more girls and young women to see post-secondary education as a real and viable option for them and ultimately enroll in it.
